Deuter backpacks have been around since 1898 when Hans Deuter took his first order to make all of the Bavarian Post Office’s postal bags. Deuter has been blazing trails in the backpacking world ever since, introducing new technologies and rethinking the status quo. Currently, their Aircomfort System is copied by several manufacturers, though none have managed to achieve the quality of Deuter.
