BAM!!! The good news is MY bike is still on the rack..... 12-14-08

"BAM!! Oh crap!... The good news honey is MY bike is still on the rack!"...... Yep, that's what I had to tell my wife after we hit a mondo pothole in our truck and her bike flew off the cheapie rack I bought... No lovin' for me that night. We travel a lot of dirt roads to get to our riding areas here is SW Utah and this Yakima rack has performed flawlessly. Yes, it's a lot of coin at nearly $400 bucks but it is super easy to use, protects the frames from scratches and two bikes take less than ninty seconds to load/unload. Only negative is that it is little heavy to install/remove from the hitch.
