| I live in Washington State, where it rains all the time. This jacket is the perfect jacket for the weather here. There's no hood though so I usually carry an umbrella or wear a beanie. I was extremely surprised at how light the jacket was when I received it. However, it has kept me warm and comfortable while walking to my college classes at night. Another big plus is that the jacket doesn't make me look like a big fat marshmallow. |

| I haven't had a lot of north face (a ten year old fleece and some odds and ends)but the cut and quality of this jacket seems good. The jacket is not too warm for a mild winter day. |
