| I just spent the past four months literally living out of this pack traveling through central America. This pack has really held up to some pretty awful conditions. The good: this pack is super light, and even when packed to capacity feels manageable for long hikes or walks through cities, is small enough to carry around in public transportation or even on planes, and is damn durable. The bad: the only opening to the main compartment is the top, so in in order to get something in the bottom, everything needs to come out. Also the lack of any small compartments makes it hard to organize small toiletries, though I think the newer model might have added an extra pocket or two. Also, this pack is really not at all waterproof, so plan on your gear getting wet in the rain. The bottom line: Golite has created a pack that is well worth the sale price, and can really take the backache out of heavy travel or backpacking |
