Description of Arc'teryx Fission LT Jacket - Men's:
The Arc'teryx Men's Fission LT Jacket provides excellent weather protection and warmth for a day of skiing, snowshoeing, or hanging around town in the winter. Though it's insulated with 133g of PrimaLoft Sport to keep you toasty, The Fission LT Jacket will never be mistaken for a big puffy jacket. Arc'teryx gave it a WindStopper membrane to protect you and this jacket's insulation, and the two hand pockets are always ready to reheat your frozen fingers.
Bottom Line: The Fission LT Jacket provides puffy jacket warmth without all the puff.

| So far I think this is a great jacket. The primaloft is far superior to down without the all the bulk. It definitely breathes better than down. It slides over other layers well, not that you would need much under it. The only issue was sizing...they run big.I normally wear a medium with Arcteryx but had to go with a small. Very pricey compared to similar jackets. |

| good jacket, not worth 350. 11-10-08 |

| i paid 90 for this at the arcteryx outlet store, which is exactly how much i think it's worth. it's a great piece for belaying or around camp on a fall evening. not waterproof, and not super-duper warm. not the kind of slick styling that Arc'teryx is known for, either. it could also use a few more pockets. |

| I really wanted to love this jacket. The quality is great, it slides easily over layers, is super warm and light. But.. for the money there are better jackets out there. It runs large, I am 175 / 5'10", it has no underarm venting, and has no inner pockets. As a casual cold weather outer layer, it would work, but its kind of drab. Its to bulky & stiff to use as a real compressible / stuffable mid layer. Add pit zips or vented underarm gussets, a over helmet zip off hood and some elbow / shoulder reinforcements it would be killer! |
